Unlike most martial arts schools that tend to wait until the student becomes advanced or a “Black Belt” before teaching them any weapons other than the “Bo” (or Staff), here at American Kung Fu Academy we start teaching several weapons much earlier so that the student will have some proficiency with weaponry before reaching Black Belt (or, in our case, “Black Sash” level). This separates us from many schools because we have more knowledge and training in over 30 different and exciting weapons!
