One of the first things that I will ask a “Grandmaster” is “who is your teacher?” If they cannot divulge that information quickly, I must always question their legitimacy. Too often people want rank and recognition without working hard under a legitimate Master. They make up a style or system by simply “mixing” or blending a few random techniques together and give themselves high rank. At our Academy, we have legitimacy and Lineage that can be verified and is well known. So please, study and acknowledge your heritage.
